eCom is slowly getting the momentum it deserves in the online community. Most of the business sectors are now looking at the possibilities of how to sell their product online.
I Love Diamonds, a new lightweight diamond jewelry brand from Khwaahish Diamonds, approached us for developing their eCom website. Get to know the backstory of this prestigious project.
The Challenge
When it comes to jewelry, there are no prominent players in the eCom industry. People feel jewelry is a personal thing, something that needs to be bought after experiencing it in their hands. How can we overcome this with our eCom site?
Khwaahish is a luxury jewelry brand, but their ‘I Love Diamonds’ offer jewels at exciting prices. How can we make the user feel the difference?
‘I Love Diamonds’ team wanted a user-friendly backend that allows them to update the site with new products frequently. How can this be done?
The Solution
After detailed pre-production that extended up to 1 month, we had decided to cash in on the keyword ‘Lightweight Jewelry Collection’. This automatically established a tone that the price will be comparatively lesser.
We used ‘Magento’ – an open-source platform to construct the eCom store. Using this, anyone can update their website in a few clicks. Mobile responsive and completely optimized SEO friendly pages added more value.
In order to give a ‘personal-touch’ experience, detailed images of the product from different angles were uploaded. Aesthetically designed pages using their brand color blue and with precise and relevant content, the site grabbed more eyeballs.
The Results
The beta version was completed in 90 days and the entire eCom portal went LIVE within 4 months. Through the analytics, it is found that the bounce rate of the site is considerably less and the visitors count improved gradually.
