Dvara SmartGold is a portfolio company of Dvara Holdings (formerly known as Dvara Trust) and a part of the Dvara Venture Studio cohort that supports entrepreneurs working towards large-scale systemic change in financial inclusion. Dvara Holdings has been pioneering initiatives that have impacted the financial lives of millions of low-income households in India, through policy research and investing in/supporting commercial efforts where there is a significant market gap.
As a part of their initiatives, Dvara SmartGold was launched in October 2019 as Micro-Savings platform that allows the customer to save in a familiar asset class – Gold, in the most convenient, secure, and cost-effective manner.
Their initial website lacked the luster of Dvara image & the company wanted to spruce it up to aid in their outreach program.
At Pixel Studios, we believe that the website must align & support the business operations, connecting the organisation to their target customers through effective & engaging communication.
We follow the best practices for website design & development. The following steps were undertaken on approaching the web design project.
We had detailed meetings with clients and other stakeholders to understand their products, offerings, what impact does it make to their customers.
We understood customers, target clusters, and their expectations in availing such services from the market.
Site Map & Wireframe
Now, it comes to our client’s website. The new website took shape first with a detailed site map followed by a wireframe considering the important modules and space holders for communication. The important factor considered was the user flow of someone who requires their services immediately & those who are exploring this for future. We suggested adding a SIP Calculator for Gold purchases to have more engagement.
After a few iterations, we finalised the wireframe to move to UI Design.
After the website launch, it’s important that we observe the site for performance. Monitoring the traffic, flow and form fills are important to see if the loose ends are connected in actual working scenarios to avoid any gaps.
The website is ensured to be fully functional & searchable by Google for the continued effort of Off-Page SEO. The client also signed up for continued maintenance to ensure that updates are made to the website on their products / services / offers etc. This also helps the website to stay updated and be Google-friendly thus, helping in higher rankings.
The website is our digital canvas to share what as a business we stand for, what can be offered, to whom & how. Many companies are releasing its importance to be business-sensitive rather than a stand-alone tool that’s irrelevant to actual business. The more aligned the website and its communication to the business, the more it makes sense to target customers who wish to find them online.
