About the Client
IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Foundation (IITTNiF) is a technology innovation hub focused on advancing research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Positioning and Precision Technologies. The foundation supports technology development, startup incubation, research initiatives, skill development, and industry collaborations.
Its initiatives aim to support emerging technologies, encourage entrepreneurship, and strengthen collaboration between research institutions and industry.
Pixel Studios undertook the website redesign project to create a modern, user-friendly digital platform that communicates IITTNiF’s objectives, activities, and technology focus while improving information accessibility and website security.
The Challenge
The existing website required improvements in its design, navigation, content structure, and security configuration. Visitors needed a clearer way to understand the foundation’s activities and access relevant information.
The main challenges included:
- Unstructured Information Architecture: The website needed a clearer sitemap and logical page hierarchy.
- Complex Navigation: Some navigation paths led to pages with limited information or separate subdomains, creating a fragmented browsing experience.
- Redundant Content: Unnecessary information and irrelevant pages affected content clarity.
- Complex Technical Information: Specialised information about research and Positioning and Precision Technologies needed better organisation.
- Inconsistent User Experience: The website required a modern interface and consistent layouts across its pages.
- Security Configuration: Relevant security headers needed to be implemented across multiple website pages.
The Strategy
Pixel Studios followed a structured approach combining UI/UX design, information architecture, website development, and security improvements.
1. UI/UX Design and Information Architecture
We redesigned the website interface to establish a modern visual identity aligned with IITTNiF’s technology and innovation focus.
Using Figma, we designed the website’s unique pages with clean layouts, consistent visual elements, and intuitive navigation. The proposed designs were presented to the client, refined based on feedback, and approved before development.
2. Sitemap Restructuring
We reorganised the website sitemap to create a logical page hierarchy and clearer navigation categories.
Relevant information previously distributed across separate subdomains was consolidated into the main website wherever appropriate. This approach helped create a more unified browsing experience and made important information easier to locate.
3. Content Organisation and Optimisation
We reviewed the existing content and identified redundant information and irrelevant pages that needed to be addressed.
Essential information was organised into meaningful sections to communicate IITTNiF’s objectives, research activities, technology initiatives, and innovation focus more clearly.
4. Website Development
After design approval, we implemented the website using WordPress and Elementor.
The development process focused on consistent page layouts, structured content presentation, and convenient website maintenance. The layout was designed to support browsing across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
5. Security Headers Implementation
Website security was an important part of the project. Relevant security headers were implemented across approximately 80–100 website pages to strengthen browser-side security configuration.
These headers help browsers apply specific security controls according to the configured policies.
6. Security Assessment
Following the security improvements, the website received an A+ rating in the security report. This result reflects the website’s performance against the assessment criteria used by the testing tool.
Technology Stack
- UI/UX Design: Figma
- Content Management System: WordPress
- Page Builder: Elementor
- Security Enhancements: Relevant security headers

Conclusion
The IITTNiF website development project demonstrates Pixel Studios’ approach to combining user-focused design, structured content, website development, and security improvements.
By restructuring the sitemap, simplifying navigation, improving content presentation, and implementing the approved designs using WordPress and Elementor, Pixel Studios helped establish a more organised digital platform for IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Foundation.
The implementation of relevant security headers across approximately 80–100 pages and the reported A+ security rating further highlight the project’s focus on website security configuration.
